Dear Member

The Committee of WELHS hope you enjoyed the summer as best you could in the circumstances, and that you, your family and friends have kept safe and well.

I have now finalised the list of speakers for 2021, being very fortunate that the majority of them were able to transfer from 2020. I now enclose/attach the programme.

We, fingers crossed, look forward to welcoming you all back to our monthly meetings at the Parish Centre. However, to be on the safe side, bearing in mind cold, dark evenings, any government guidelines regarding Covid we have started our programme of speakers in April 2021.

We look forward to opening the Museum in the New Year and I will be contacting some of you who regularly volunteer at the Museum at a later date. If any other members fancy a two hour slot of volunteering at the Museum please do not hesitate in contacting me at lindowdell@aol.com

As we’ve said before your subscription paid in 2020 will cover your membership for 2021. We wish you a safe and peaceful Christmas and hope you can get together with family and friends.

Don’t forget the Newsletter (Westender) is still being produced and going on our website: www.westendlhs.co.uk  however, when we meet in April there will be a supply of printed copies of newsletters produced since March available for you.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Lin Dowdell

Hon. Secretary
